The small print, in plain English
- Payment is taken in full when you book. Your booking is active once payment is received.
- To cancel, contact us at least 21 days before your hire date and we'll refund the cost, less a 10% handling charge.
- No refunds for returning a pre-paid bike early.
- On collection we need a current passport or driving licence. A copy of your ID stays with us during the hire.
- Pannier bags must be booked at the same time as the bike.
- Please choose the right size and dates when you book.
- We can't deliver or collect hire bikes.

The bikes were ready for us, first thing in the morning and were in perfect condition. The bikes were extremely good value, and were robust enough to tackle certain N7 roads which were not tarred. Joe the owner was super friendly and made sure we had any extra equipement and tools necessary. His can do and solicitous attitude gave my cycling hoilday the perfect start. A credit to Glasgow!

They were just right, new and well equipped for emergency repairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located near Kelvingrove Park. What bike will I get?
A Ridgeback Vanteo hybrid / road touring bike with a Topeak rear pannier rack and two bottle cages, in sizes Small to XX-Large.
What size do I need?
Small fits 152–162cm, Medium 162–173cm, Large 172–178cm, X-Large 178–185cm and XX-Large 185–195cm. The chart overlaps at the edges, so if you're between two sizes, message us before you book.
What's included?
A helmet and padlock come free with every bike (tick the boxes when you book), plus two bottle cages and free luggage storage at the shop.
Can I leave my luggage at the shop?
Yes, for free, with no limit, while you're out on the bike.
Can I hire panniers?
Yes. A pair of Ortlieb panniers (2 × 20 litres) is £5 a day or £30 a week. Book them at the same time as the bike.
What do I need to bring?
A current passport or driving licence. It's held as a deposit, and we keep a copy during your hire.
When can I pick up and drop off?
Any time in opening hours: 10am–6pm Monday to Saturday, or 12 noon–5pm on Sunday.
What's your cancellation policy?
Payment is taken in full when you book. Cancel at least 21 days before your hire date for a refund, less a 10% handling charge. There are no refunds for returning a bike early.
Do you deliver bikes?
No. We can't deliver or collect hire bikes, but the shop is two minutes from Glasgow University, near Kelvinbridge subway.

No. We don't hire e-bikes, triathlon, racing, children's or mountain bikes, child seats or trailers.
