Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website. It's designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What you can do

  • Zoom to 400% without losing content or functions.
  • Use the whole site with a keyboard, including the menus, the hire planner and the contact form.
  • Use a screen reader: every page has one main heading, clear landmarks and descriptive links, and photos have text descriptions.
  • Turn off animation: the site respects your device's “reduce motion” setting and shows everything straight away.

Text and background colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio, and no information is given by colour alone.

Third-party content

The hire booking calendar is provided by FareHarbor and Google Maps by Google. We can't fully control their accessibility, so you can always book or ask for directions by phone, text or WhatsApp instead.

Tell us about a problem

If something doesn't work for you, please tell us at sales@gearbikes.com or on 0141 339 1179, and we'll do our best to fix it or give you the information another way.
